Swathi Thirunal Festival
Swathi Thirunal Festival is one of the major events in the calander of Delhi events.This fabulous event has been introduced by Jayaprabha Menon to the National Capital of India. This festival is being conducted since 2008.
The objective of this festival is to celebrate the nader poet king through various disciplines of Indian Classical Dance & Music. Stalwarts like Rajendra Gangani, Rama Vaidhyanathan, Kaushalya Reddy, Nalini Kamalini, Ranjana Gauhar, Deepti Omchery Bhalla, Dr. Neena Prasad, Vidha Lal, Geeta Chandran, Ragini Chandrashekar, Justin Mc Arthy , Sreevalsan J Menon, Sudha Raghuraman, G.Raghuraman, Sharadhi Chattergi, Elangovan Govindharajan, Utsav Musicals,Chennai to name a few.
Udgamam Celebrates budding young talents of the age 15-20. This festival provides the right opportunity at the right time and has been conducted from the year 2010 -12 at the Indian Habitat Center, New Delhi.
Nrityotsav is an annual event conducted by the International Academy of Mohiniyattam where all the students of the Academy participate. This utsav is being held every two years since 2006.
Yuva-Mukulam is a festival for young talented aspirants in classical dance and music since the year 2019. During the pandemic the festival was supported by ICCR and even released on their virtual platform.
To mark the decennial celebration of International Academy of Mohiniyattam , an in-house presentation of young dancers was introduced. In total, this festival had 4 chapters from the year 2019 which was showcased at the Triveni Kala Sangam, Mandi House, New Delhi.
Nava-Laavanyam is Mohiniyattam's new grace. International Academy of Mohiniyattam proudly features the young upcoming generation of Mohiniyattam dancers. It showcases solo performances of the senior students of the academy.
